Whilst microdermabrasion generally gives immediate improvements, for optimal results and the treatment of specific concerns, a course of 5 to 10 weekly treatments is recommended, followed by monthly maintenance treatments.

Microdermabrasion is a gentle and non-invasive procedure, however some people do experience temporary side effects, which may last from a few hours to a day, including:
